Escalate critical issues to senior management for resolution and support.
Enforce plant rules, policies, and labour regulations; administer discipline, track attendance, and conduct employee performance appraisals.
Ensure adherence to company safety programs, including proper use of safety equipment and emergency evacuation procedures.
Collaborate with Health & Safety representatives to investigate and resolve workplace incidents, accidents, or injuries.
Develop and maintain departmental procedures, manuals, records, and documentation.
Prepare and approve employee vacation schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work environment.
Support the implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance productivity and quality.
Perform hands-on assembly work if required to support departmental operations.

Qualifications/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Completion of technical trade school OR approximately five years of diversified experience in manufacturing, demonstrating capability to perform managerial responsibilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to resolve problems in collaboration with planners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Experience motivating teams and working under time-sensitive deadlines.

Ideal Candidate:
