AI Use in Our Hiring Process

We use technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support parts of our hiring process. This may include AI-assisted scheduling and candidate communications, and AI-generated interview notes, guides or summaries to help our team focus on the conversation. About the Role

We're hiring a Field Marketing Manager to build a field function at Float that is measured on pipeline and revenue, not events delivered. You'll own account-based programmes for our top target accounts, working alongside our BDR and AE teams to create qualified pipeline, accelerate open deals and open doors into new accounts. You'll also own customer engagement, including our flagship customer conference, Float Forward, held twice a year. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing and supported by event contractors, you'll set the strategy and be accountable for the results: sourced and influenced pipeline, deal velocity and Float's reputation in the Canadian finance community.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Own field and ABM programmes end to end: set qualification criteria and sales handoffs before launch, then track every programme through to qualified pipeline and closed-won, not attendance or leads generated.
Build durable, repeatable programs across customer marketing and acquisition, each with a clear goal, cadence, and owner, rather than one-off event execution
Establish an always-on customer engagement cadence: regular customer webinars, thought leadership moments, and customer spotlights that build pipeline and retention in parallel
Be a genuine face for Float in the Canadian finance community: identify and deploy creative strategies that earn real introductions to new prospects and build lasting rapport, not just brand impressions
Own Float Forward, our flagship bi-annual customer conference, end to end: strategy, budget, logistics, and post-event pipeline follow-through
Maintain a live, rolling roadmap visible to sales, CSMs, and leadership, and run a tight cadence of 1:1s and stakeholder syncs with clear agendas and notes
Weigh every programme against the broader marketing opex envelope and factor CAC into how programmes are sized and prioritised
Proactively manage vendors and contractors with real oversight, and communicate schedule or activation changes early enough to protect high-value ICP moments

What You'll Bring

5+ years in field marketing, ABM, or a related revenue-facing marketing role at a high-growth B2B company
A demonstrated track record of converting event or ABM-generated pipeline into closed-won revenue, with the metrics to prove it
Experience building repeatable, durable programmes with a clear cadence and owner, not just executing a single strong event
Genuine comfort owning a budget and connecting it to CAC
Strong operational discipline: you keep roadmaps current, run tight stakeholder meetings, and don't let planning docs go stale
A natural relationship-builder who can earn warm introductions and build real standing in a professional community, not just attend events
Practical, day-to-day use of AI tools to move faster on research, content, and campaign execution
