Original job description

Sales Development Representative

FlowLinker | Full time (CANADA OR USA ONLY)

Open doors. Create opportunities. Make a visible impact.

FlowLinker helps companies selling equipment and engineered solutions turn customer conversations, technical documents and company expertise into clearly defined solutions their teams can evaluate, quote and deliver.

We’re growing fast and looking for a Sales Development Representative who loves starting conversations, understands the value of consistent prospecting and puts the customer first.

You’ll work closely with the founders and our sales team to build qualified pipeline and help shape our outbound approach.

The role

You’ll identify potential customers, connect with decision makers and create opportunities through phone outreach, email, LinkedIn and industry events.

Cold calling is a core part of this role. We’re looking for someone who can earn attention, ask relevant questions and turn an initial conversation into a worthwhile meeting.

What you’ll do

Generate opportunities through consistent cold calling and personalized outreach.

Understand prospect challenges and assess whether FlowLinker could be a fit.

Book qualified discovery meetings and provide useful context to the Account Executive.

Follow up with prospects and contacts from trade shows and other events.

Represent FlowLinker in person and build relationships with potential customers.

Maintain accurate prospect information and activity in the CRM.

Test messaging, share feedback and improve your approach through coaching.

What you bring

At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally 3 or more, with direct prospecting or cold calling experience.

Strong phone communication and the ability to build rapport quickly.

Confidence initiating conversations online, over the phone and in person.

Natural curiosity about customers, their businesses and their challenges.

The ability to learn quickly and become comfortable speaking with technical buyers.

Autonomy, strong organization and a high level of accountability.

A consistent work ethic and resilience through rejection.

A drive to achieve results, improve your skills and contribute to the team.

Nice to have

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, automation, robotics or equipment markets.

Experience prospecting for B2B software or complex solutions.

Familiarity with CRM and sales prospecting tools.

Experience attending trade shows or generating business through events.

Industry experience is an asset, not a requirement. We value sales ability, curiosity and execution.

How we work

The customer is at the center of everything we do. Great prospecting starts with understanding who you’re contacting and why a conversation could be valuable to them.

We work hard, take ownership and improve together. You’ll join a committed team where your ideas matter, feedback is direct and your contribution to our growth is visible.

What we offer

Competitive base salary plus commissions.

Participation in our stock option plan.

Direct coaching and collaboration with the founders and sales team.

Opportunities to participate in trade shows and industry events.

Room to grow within sales as you demonstrate results and develop your skills.

Apply

Send your résumé and a brief introduction highlighting your prospecting experience, sales results and interest in FlowLinker.
