Role: Waterproofer



Summary:  Implementing measures to prevent water from entering through walls, floors, roofs, and other vulnerable areas of a commercial building. By applying membranes, coatings, and sealants using specialized techniques like torch-applied, self-adhesive, or liquid-applied methods. 



Daily responsibilities:


•Installation of Hot Rubber, Torch on Membrane, Urethan Coating Systems, and Blindside Waterproofing Systems


•Have a strong understanding of waterproofing systems, above and below grade


•Experience with application methods including torch applied, hot applied (hot rubber), as well as a good understanding of commercial roofing installation

Responsibilities

Install waterproofing systems to prevent water intrusion in commercial buildings, including hot rubber, torch-applied membranes, urethane coatings, and blindside systems. Apply waterproofing materials using specialized methods and work on above- and below-grade areas.

Requirements

The role calls for a strong understanding of above- and below-grade waterproofing systems and experience with torch-applied and hot-applied (hot rubber) methods. A good understanding of commercial roofing installation is also expected.
