Workday Reporting Specialist
Permanent | Ontario | Remote-First
Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Specialist to join an established Workday sustainment team and support the ongoing development, optimization and governance of enterprise reporting.
This is a hands-on role focused on building Workday reports and dashboards, improving reporting performance and data quality, and partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical reporting solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain Workday Advanced, Composite and dashboard reporting solutions
- Develop Calculated Fields and support complex reporting requirements
- Support reporting across Workday HCM and Financials
- Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot reporting, data and security issues
- Optimize existing reports for performance and usability
- Ensure reporting accuracy, security and data integrity while maintaining clear reporting documentation and standards
- Support reporting used by integrations where required
- Contribute to Workday releases, enhancements and future module expansion
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of ERP experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience
- Strong Workday Report Writer experience
- Advanced Reports and Calculated Fields
- Composite Report experience
- Strong understanding of Workday reporting security
- Experience gathering requirements from business users
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Workday certification preferred
Experience with Matrix Reports, RaaS, EIBs, Studio, Cloud Connectors, BIRT, Discovery Boards, Prism Analytics or Workday Student would be beneficial.

Requirements
Candidates need at least five years of ERP experience and three years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience, including strong Report Writer, Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields, Composite Reports, and reporting security knowledge. Experience gathering business requirements and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are expected; Workday certification is preferred, and additional Workday reporting and integration tools are beneficial.
