Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business transformation initiatives, improving operational processes, and ensuring technology solutions align with organizational objectives.

You'll work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business challenges, gather requirements, evaluate existing processes, and develop functional specifications that guide system development and enhancements.

The position also involves supporting business readiness and adoption, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through structured process analysis and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder consultations, and functional specifications.
• Lead and mentor Business Analysts, promoting best practices and professional development.
• Develop current-state and future-state process models, conduct gap analyses, and recommend operational improvements.
• Support business transformation initiatives, including business readiness, change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies.
• Develop test plans and collaborate with technical teams to support system enhancements and implementations.
• Manage business process documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, security, and proper governance.
• Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to support requirements prioritization, project planning, and release management.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of business analysis experience, including complex business and technology initiatives.
• Insurance industry experience, with strong knowledge of insurance operations and business processes.
• Proven experience advising clients on complex business transformation, including business readiness, change management, adoption, and benefits realization.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, functional specifications, process modelling, gap analysis, and workflow improvement.
• Experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts.
• Knowledge of business process documentation, governance, and quality assurance.
• Basic understanding of mobile application and web portal development lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum, including requirements management and release planning.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
