Built on family roots, we value safety, hard work, and getting the job done right for our clients. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to build your skills and grow your career.

Role Details

  • Location: Transmission & distribution line projects throughout Ontario.
  • Work arrangement: On-site, with availability to work at remote or active construction project sites.
  • Schedule: Project-based rotation, initially anticipated to be 6 days on / 1 day off. Frequent overtime and weekend work may be required to accommodate project schedules.
  • Travel: Travel to project sites throughout Ontario is required.
  • Travel support: Eligible for a $200 per day living-out allowance (LOA), where applicable while working away from home.

The Opportunity

The Construction Supervisor manages execution across assigned construction scopes, overseeing General Forepersons, subcontractors, and internal crews. Working closely with Project Managers and site leadership, you will coordinate field activities and take accountability for daily performance across safety, cost, quality, and schedule.

This opportunity suits an experienced field leader moving from superintendent-level responsibilities into broader site or project oversight. You will bring construction planning, workforce coordination, and subcontractor execution together while developing field leaders and keeping daily delivery aligned with project objectives.

Key Elements of the Role

  • Oversee construction execution across assigned scopes, establish daily delivery expectations, and resolve field issues with General Forepersons, subcontractors, and internal crews.
  • Coordinate short-term and mid-range construction plans with project schedules, resource availability, and client expectations. Participate in look-ahead planning, milestone tracking, and recovery strategies.
  • Support workforce planning, crew alignment, and site staging, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are available to maintain field operations.
  • Ensure the company safety management system and controls are applied consistently across work fronts and support the resolution of incidents, near misses, and field hazards.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC personnel on Inspection and Test Plans, inspection readiness, materials verification, installation reviews, redlines, punch list resolution, and turnover documentation.
  • Monitor crew utilization, production quantities, unit rates, and productivity to support reporting and track daily and weekly progress against project targets.
  • Coach field leaders, provide performance feedback, and reinforce quality standards, audit readiness, and documentation practices. Maintain clear communication with project management, engineering, procurement, and safety teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • Journeyman Powerline Technician (JPM/Lineman) certification is required.
  • Twelve to fifteen years of experience in utility or infrastructure construction, with proven leadership across multiple construction disciplines.
  • Experience transitioning from superintendent-level field leadership to broader site or project oversight.
  • Strong understanding of construction execution, workforce management, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships.
  • Working knowledge of schedule tracking, productivity measurement, and basic cost controls.
  • Proficiency in Procore, SAP, scheduling tools, and field reporting systems.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A diploma or degree in construction, engineering technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
