Field Service Technician ( HET)

Foremost have an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician (HET)reporting into our Field Service Technician (HET) Supervisor . The successful candidate will be based out of our facility in Calgary, Alberta, and will be required to travel on an as-needed basis to various locations around the world to service Foremost equipment

Responsibilities:

• Commission and start up new equipment at customer sites 

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, low voltage electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems 

• Perform preventive maintenance, warranty work and corrective repairs 

• Troubleshoot electronic control networks, wiring harnesses, sensors and control systems 

• Train operators and maintenance personnel.

• Apply your technical expertise in our manufacturing facility, supporting equipment assembly, testing, commissioning, and continuous product improvement initiatives. 

• Complete service reports and provide technical recommendations 

• Travel throughout Canada and internationally to support customers 

Qualifications :

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification 

• Strong troubleshooting and advanced electrical diagnostic skills 

• Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and technical schematics 

• Excellente communication and customer service skills 

• Valid Class 5 Driver License and Valid Canadian Passport 

• Must have a complete line of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and electronic assembly or repair.
