Original job description

Account Manager – Security Operations

Location: Mississauga, Ontario / Greater Toronto Area (including Hamilton)

Your New Company

Foresight Recruitment Group is representing a well-established, Canadian-owned security and facility services organization that is expanding its operations across the country.

With a strong reputation for service excellence, professional development, and long-standing client partnerships, our client is focused on building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional results.

As its Ontario operations continue to grow, the organization is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Security Operations to play a key role in developing its regional presence.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established national organization while helping shape a growing business in Ontario.

Your New Role

As Account Manager, you will oversee security operations across a portfolio of client sites throughout the GTA, combining hands-on operational leadership with strategic client relationship management.

You will work closely with senior leadership to develop high-performing teams, strengthen client partnerships, and establish operational standards that support the organization's continued growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, mentoring, and developing site supervisors and frontline security professionals across multiple locations.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, property managers, and key stakeholders.
Conducting site visits, client meetings, and regular business reviews to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Overseeing staffing, scheduling, operational performance, and contract compliance.
Managing portfolio budgets, labour costs, KPIs, and service expectations.
Addressing operational challenges and client concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen service delivery, and support regional growth.
Collaborating with senior leadership to help shape the future of the Ontario operation.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To succeed in this position, you will bring a combination of operational expertise, strong people leadership, and excellent business communication skills.

Ideally, you will have:

A minimum of five years of experience within the security industry.
Previous experience in security operations, account management, or multi-site contract service delivery.
Demonstrated success leading large teams, site supervisors, and frontline personnel.
Strong experience managing client relationships, service expectations, and operational challenges.
Financial acumen, including experience with labour budgets, operational reporting, and performance metrics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior-level clients.
A proactive, solutions-oriented leadership style and a genuine interest in developing people.
A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel between client sites throughout the GTA.

Experience with shopping centres, commercial properties, airports, or other complex security environments would be considered an asset.

What You'll Get in Return

This opportunity offers more than a traditional account management position.

You will join an organization with an established national presence while becoming part of an Ontario team in an exciting stage of development.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Earn a competitive salary of $70,000–$85,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Work directly with senior leadership and contribute to important business decisions.
Help develop a growing regional operation and influence its long-term direction.
Build and lead a team of security professionals committed to service excellence.
Establish meaningful relationships with clients and industry partners.
Grow your career alongside an expanding national organization.

For an experienced security operations professional who wants greater responsibility, influence, and long-term career potential, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
