Original job description

The Opportunity

Foresight Recruitment Group is partnering with an established Canadian real estate organization to identify an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager / Director, Human Resources.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a dynamic business environment, enjoys developing people, and knows how to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.

Our client is seeking someone who brings more than technical HR knowledge. They want a collaborative leader with sound judgment, strong business acumen, and a genuine passion for helping people and organizations succeed.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play an important role in strengthening HR operations, supporting business leaders, and guiding a team of HR professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and develop the HR team, providing mentorship, direction, and support to HR generalists and talent acquisition professionals.
Partner with senior leadership to understand business priorities and provide practical, strategic HR guidance.
Navigate complex employee relations matters, balancing legislative requirements, organizational needs, and sound judgment.
Strengthen HR operations, identifying opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, accountability, and overall effectiveness.
Support organizational change, helping leaders navigate evolving business needs and team structures.
Coach and empower managers, building stronger people leadership capabilities throughout the organization.
Oversee key HR programs and initiatives, ensuring they support both employee experience and business performance.
Build trusted relationships across the business and establish HR as an accessible, solutions-oriented partner.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in connecting with experienced HR leaders who combine strong technical knowledge with a practical, people-first approach.

The ideal candidate will bring:

Progressive human resources leadership experience, including experience managing and developing HR teams.
Strong employee relations expertise and a sound understanding of Ontario employment legislation.
Demonstrated ability to support senior leaders and influence business decisions.
Experience leading HR operations within a complex or multi-location organization.
Excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational responsibilities.
A collaborative leadership style and the confidence to challenge conventional thinking when appropriate.
Experience within real estate, property management, or another operationally complex industry would be an asset.

Above all, we're looking for a leader who understands that great HR is not simply about policies and procedures. It's about people, business outcomes, and finding solutions that work.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within an established Canadian organization.

You'll have the opportunity to lead an HR team, work directly with senior decision-makers, influence how HR supports the business, and help shape the continued development of the function.

For an experienced HR professional who enjoys both strategy and execution, this is an opportunity to bring your expertise, ideas, and leadership to a role where your contributions will matter.

Interested in Learning More?

At Foresight Recruitment Group, we believe the right career move starts with a conversation.

If you're an experienced HR leader looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we'd welcome a confidential discussion.

Connect with Foresight Recruitment Group to learn more about this opportunity.

Foresight Recruitment Group is committed to inclusive recruitment practices and welcomes applications from qualified individuals of all backgrounds.
