Position Overview

Build a career that supports people and powers communities. At FortisBC, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative HR Analyst to join our Employee Services team.

Reporting to the Manager, People Analytics & HRIS Optimization, you'll play an important role in supporting employee programs by ensuring people-related information is accurate, reliable, and delivered in a timely manner. You'll help maintain high-quality data, support reporting needs, contribute to process improvements, and provide operational support for key employee total rewards programs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement, and working with a variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:

Support the delivery of employee programs by maintaining accurate employee information and records.
Provide guidance and support to employees and internal stakeholders regarding people-related processes and programs.
Prepare and deliver reports and insights that support operational and business decision-making.
Participate in audits, reviews, and activities that ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects, system enhancements, and organizational priorities.
Help maintain the integrity and confidentiality of employee information while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Provide operational support across Employee Services and Total Rewards programs, contributing to the successful delivery of departmental priorities and services.

What it takes:

A diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, combined with relevant experience.
Experience supporting HR, employee services, benefits, payroll, pension, or Total Rewards programs.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
A customer-focused approach with sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
Experience working with SAP and other HRIS systems, reporting tools, and advanced spreadsheet tools. applications.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
