- Lead and supervise the maintenance crew to deliver exceptional quality and efficiency on all assigned properties.
- Plan daily operations, delegate tasks, and ensure work is completed within scheduled timeframes.
- Support and train crew members, ensuring Fossil’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
Maintenance Operations
- Perform and supervise pruning, weeding, lawn care, hedging, irrigation and lighting repairs, planting, and garden renovations.
- Maintain property equipment and tools; ensure trucks are organized and ready for each day’s work.
Safety & Administration
- Promote a safe, professional work environment in line with company policies.
- Track attendance, crew hours, and project details accurately in LMN software.
- Ensure all safety protocols and maintenance standards are upheld at all times.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in high-end residential or estate landscape maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.
Assets
- Post-secondary education in horticulture (Certificate, Diploma, or Red Seal).
- BC Pesticide Applicator License or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience using LMN software for time tracking and job management.
- Experience with irrigation systems, pruning, and plant care at a high horticultural standard.
Compensation & Benefits
At Fossil, we take care of our people. Here’s what you can expect:
- Competitive hourly wage: $30–$38/hour based on experience.
- Annual bonus eligibility.
- Company truck and phone for business use.
- Group savings plan with company matching (RRSP, TFSA, and savings).
- Extended health benefits – dental, vision, prescriptions, life & disability insurance.
- Red Seal / ITA sponsorship and reimbursement for approved training and education.
- Excellent work-life balance and supportive team culture.
- At least four company-sponsored social events each year, including our annual Yaletown Christmas party
