Original job description

Sales Development Representative – Business Financing

Full-time · In-office, five days a week · Downtown Toronto

Uncapped commission · Training provided · Opportunity to grow into a closing role

If you’re confident on the phone, enjoy opening doors and want your results to influence what you earn, we’d love to meet you.

Our client helps business owners across North America access financing. We’re building our Toronto sales team and looking for an experienced outbound salesperson who can start conversations, understand a business owner’s needs and help identify the right financing options.

You’ll get training on our products, work alongside a close-knit sales team and have the opportunity to grow into a closer or senior sales role as you develop.

What you’ll do

Make 100+ outbound calls a day to connect with business owners and identify financing opportunities.
Ask thoughtful questions about their business, cash flow, growth plans and funding needs.
Introduce relevant financing options, including SBA loans, bridge loans, bank loans and private lending.
Build relationships through clear communication, consistent follow-up and a professional approach.
Keep your pipeline, call activity and next steps accurate in the CRM.
Work toward individual sales targets and contribute to the team’s results.

What you’ll bring

At least two years of sales experience, ideally in outbound, phone-based sales.
Confidence starting conversations with business owners and asking direct questions.
Persistence through rejection and the discipline to follow up.
Strong listening skills and the ability to build trust.
A competitive mindset, openness to coaching and motivation to grow your sales career.

Business financing experience is helpful, but we’ll provide product training. We’re looking for someone who brings the sales fundamentals and wants to learn.

Why join us?

Uncapped earning potential: A competitive commission structure that rewards results.
Room to progress: An opportunity to develop into a closing or senior sales role.
Training and support: Learn the financing products and develop your approach alongside the team.
A growing business: Join a team where your contribution is visible.

Apply with your résumé and a few lines about your outbound sales experience, including the customers you’ve sold to and the targets you’ve worked toward.
