Overview

Fountain Tire High River (720-11 Ave SE) is looking for a skilled and Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

You will get to:

Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
Completing approved service on customer vehicles
Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

What does it take to get on track?

Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis

Responsibilities

The technician is responsible for diagnosing vehicle malfunctions and performing accurate, efficient repairs. They will also conduct scheduled maintenance and communicate vehicle conditions to customers.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Licensed or Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade. A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driver's abstract are also required.
