Fountain Tire North Vancouver, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associates to join our team as Automotive Tire Technicians!
What do we offer?
Competitive compensation: $25 to $30 per hour (based on experience) + bonus for eligible candidates

Regular full-time day shifts, with opportunities for overtime during our busy seasons (spring and fall)

The opportunity for growth into apprenticeships and leadership positions - own your own Fountain Tire store!
You will be responsible for:
Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
What does it take to get on track?
Experience is an asset, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
A keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Basic computer skills
Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms

Responsibilities
Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light-truck tires and wheels; service tire pressure monitoring systems and equipment; and perform specialty tire work. Support inventory processes, provide professional customer service, and maintain a safe workplace.
Requirements
Prior tire experience and knowledge of passenger and light-truck tires are assets, but motivated candidates may be trained. Candidates need a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, basic computer skills, attention to detail, the ability to lift 25 kilograms, and a customer-service focus; the posting also includes a separate opening for a registered automotive service apprentice with at least one year of experience.
