Original job description

FP Inc. is partnering with a leading Canadian financial institution to find an Intermediate Identity & Access Management Analyst for its Workforce Identity team. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes solving problems in code as much as in policy. You'll make access seamless from an employee's first day and strengthen the automation that keeps it secure.

What you'll do

Support and enhance the workforce identity platform built on Okta, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management and application integrations.
Build and maintain automation for joiner-mover-leaver processes using Python and PowerShell.
Improve day-one access provisioning so new employees are productive from the start.
Integrate new applications into the identity platform and troubleshoot authentication and provisioning issues.
Contribute to access reviews, role design and least-privilege controls in a regulated environment.
Partner with security, infrastructure and HR technology teams to streamline identity workflows.
Document processes, configurations and runbooks, and help raise the team's engineering standards.

What you bring

4 to 7 years of experience in identity and access management, ideally focused on workforce identity.
Hands-on experience administering and integrating Okta (Workforce Identity Cloud).
Solid scripting and development skills in Python and PowerShell.
Strong grasp of identity protocols and standards such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SCIM.
A solid security foundation, including access control principles, least privilege and identity governance.
Experience with Active Directory or Entra ID.
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
Exposure to identity governance tools such as SailPoint or Saviynt.
Okta certifications (Okta Certified Professional, Administrator or Consultant).
Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure-as-code.
