Duration: 4.5 months
Typical Day in Role:
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional, non-functional, operational, and transitional requirements.
- Create business process models, workflows, and functional specifications (AS-IS / TO-BE).
- Perform gap analysis between current and future-state capabilities and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, QA, and project managers to ensure requirement clarity and alignment.
- Support solution design by translating business needs into actionable specifications.
- Coordinate and support Integration System Testing (IST), QA, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Track defects, risks, issues, and support governance and project reporting.
- Support change management, training documentation, and transition to production and BAU teams.
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex delivery environments
- Extensive experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and system requirements, as well as strong experience creating user stories, functional requirements, and supporting end-to-end documentation across applications and upstream/downstream system integrations
- Proven ability to create process maps, workflows, and functional specification, as well as experience conducting gap analyses and recommending business and technology solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills bridging business and technical teams
- Experience working within Agile environments and understanding SDLC phases
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Working experience in the banking/financial services industry would be an asset
- Knowledge of credit and risk management applications
- Experience supporting large transformation or system replacement initiatives.

Education:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Business Analysis or Agile certifications are an asset.
