  • Drive cross-border alignment between Toronto and US teams (e.g., New York / Jersey City), including Front Office, Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Legal.
  • Manage scope across core prime services: client onboarding, margin and financing, securities lending, synthetic prime / swaps, collateral management, and client reporting.
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into delivery plans, covering Canadian (CIRO, OSFI) and US (SEC, FINRA) obligations where relevant.
  • Run governance: steering committee materials, status reporting, budget tracking, change control and executive escalation.
  • Coordinate vendors and platform partners, and manage integration with trading, risk, settlement and data platforms.
  • Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams of BAs, developers, testers and SMEs, including onshore and offshore resources.
  • Identify risks early, propose options and drive decisions to keep milestones on track.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 12+ years of project / program management in Capital Markets, with at least 5 years leading large, multi-stream programs.
  • Direct delivery experience on Prime Brokerage programs at a bank or broker-dealer (prime services, securities finance, margin, or synthetic prime).
  • Proven track record on cross-border or multi-jurisdiction initiatives, ideally Canada–US.
  • Strong working knowledge of the prime brokerage trade and financing lifecycle: onboarding, margin, stock loan / borrow, collateral, settlement and client reporting.
  • Experience delivering regulatory and transformation programs in a Tier-1 bank environment with formal governance and audit oversight.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders (Director to MD) and drive decisions across business, operations and technology.
  • Strong command of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery, with hands-on planning tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.
  • Eligible to work in Canada and able to be on site in Toronto 3 days per week.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience launching or expanding a prime brokerage offering, or migrating prime clients between platforms or legal entities.
  • Exposure to US rules affecting prime services, such as SEC Rule 15c3-3 (customer protection), Reg T and FINRA 4210 margin, and SEC Rule 10c-1a securities lending reporting.
  • Familiarity with CIRO margin and client asset requirements in Canada.
  • Background in AML / KYC onboarding for institutional and hedge fund clients.
  • Experience with T+1 settlement, collateral optimization or front-to-back automation programs.
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe certification.
  • Prior consulting or contract experience in Canadian or US bank Capital Markets.
