Senior Network Engineer
This is a HYBRID position which requires 3 days per week in our Toronto office.
About The Department
The Communication Services team delivers secure, reliable data & voice connectivity across Franklin Templeton’s global enterprise. In this 24/7 environment, you will work with modern networking technologies, automation, and global infrastructure and application teams to strengthen business-critical services.
How You Will Add Value
Core Responsibilities
- You will manage, deploy, and support global data and voice network services.
- You will resolve complex incidents, lead root-cause analysis, and deliver sustainable solutions.
- You will implement security controls, changes, and service improvements in compliance with standards.
- You will expand automation, resiliency, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- You will manage infrastructure initiatives, maintain documentation, collaborate globally, and mentor engineers.
What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role
Experience, Technical Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years supporting large-scale global enterprise networks; regulated-industry experience preferred.
- Expertise in SD-WAN, OSPF, BGP, cloud/hybrid networking, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong Linux/Windows knowledge and ability to develop automation code and apply AI in infrastructure operations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, customer-service, prioritization, and technical judgment skills.
Work Schedule & Location
- This is a HYBRID position which requires 3 days per week in our Toronto office.
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional work outside standard hours is required.
- Travel may be required to support remote markets.
