Job Summary
The Emergency Department at Ridge Meadows Hospital is seeking to fill a locum position, with a view to joining the medical staff, if mutually agreeable. Emergency Medicine certification or extensive ED experience preferred and must have ACLS, ATLS and PALS/APLS.
Ridge Meadows Hospital is a community hospital providing primary and secondary acute care and specialty services including 24/7 emergency, ambulatory care, day surgery, general and internal medicine, rehabilitation, maternity care, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, critical care, pharmacy, medical imaging, and a medical laboratory for both inpatient and outpatient needs.
The site also offers a continuum of adult psychiatric and social services available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
CPSBC US certified class of registration acceptable.

Responsibilities
Provide emergency physician services at Ridge Meadows Hospital in a locum position, with the possibility of joining the medical staff by mutual agreement. The role is based in a community hospital offering 24/7 emergency care and a broad range of acute and specialty services.
Requirements
Emergency Medicine certification or extensive emergency department experience is preferred. ACLS, ATLS, and PALS/APLS are required; listed qualifications also include CCFP EM and eligibility for or possession of a full CPSBC license, with US-certified CPSBC registration accepted.
