Role Description This is a contract, on-site Sales Specialist role based in Vancouver, BC. The Sales Specialist will engage with existing and prospective retail and food service customers, present product offerings, and negotiate pricing and terms within established guidelines. Daily activities include conducting in-person sales visits, managing a sales pipeline, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools. The role involves coordinating product demonstrations, gathering customer feedback, and sharing insights with internal teams to support marketing and product initiatives. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with operations to ensure timely deliveries and with management to meet sales targets and support regional growth.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interactions with customers and internal teams.
Customer Service and client relationship-building skills to manage accounts, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
Sales experience with a proven ability to identify opportunities, close deals, and work toward measurable revenue targets.
Training and Sales Management skills to support onboarding of new partners or staff and contribute to sales process improvements.
Experience in food, CPG, or retail industries is preferred, with knowledge of local Vancouver, BC market considered an asset.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally to customer locations, and manage time effectively in a field-based environment.
Comfort using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools to track activities and performance.
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
Paid travel. Commission only role.
