We are looking for a Communications Advisor who is responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of Fundserv’s internal, external and crisis communications.
In this role, you will…
- Develop communications plans, messaging and materials that support business priorities and engage internal and external audiences.
- Advise leaders and business partners on communications objectives, audiences, messaging, timing, tone, channels and risks.
- Write, edit and proofread clear, engaging content for various platforms including email, newsletters, intranet posts, website copy and social media posts, using plain language to simplify complex information.
- Partner with leaders, subject matter experts and creative teams to develop accessible, visually effective communications and coordinate reviews, approvals and timelines.
- Prepare, test and distribute communications that meet brand, accessibility, quality and translation requirements, including communications for incidents, and business continuity events.
- Use data and performance insights to assess communications effectiveness and improve tools, templates, processes and practices.
Why you are the person we’re looking for…
You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:
- Experience developing and executing communications plans and materials for B2B, external, internal and issues-related communications in a corporate environment.
- Ability to translate business strategies, complex information, and key initiatives into clear, compelling messages for different audiences.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, including creating content for multiple channels and writing in a leadership voice.
- Knowledge of communications and marketing best practices, including brand standards, tone of voice and audience segmentation.
- Strong research, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills, with the ability to develop new ideas and recommend practical solutions.
- Proficiency in communications and digital tools, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and CRM marketing platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to build stakeholder relationships, manage competing priorities and tight deadlines, maintain accuracy, and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
The following is not required but will be a bonus:
- Knowledge and/or experience in the technology services and/or financial services industry is an asset.
- Experience in writing for media and managing media monitoring platforms is an asset.
- Ability to read and edit written French is an asset.
Target total compensation including bonus: $80,500 – 97,750 per year
(starting base salary of $70,000 – $85,000)
