Responsibilities

Tasks

Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Keep maintenance reports and documentation
Welding experience
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Service attachments and working tools
Verify and repair emission control systems
Perform other routine maintenance

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose farm equipment faults using computerized and other testing equipment, then adjust, repair, or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment, install and service farm equipment and attachments, maintain documentation, and perform routine maintenance, welding, and emission control system repairs.

Requirements

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and experience is an asset. A Class 1 or A driver's licence is listed; candidates also need their own transportation and tools, including steel-toed safety boots, and must be able to perform physically demanding work.
