Original job description

We are looking for fun, friendly and outgoing people to join our Customer Service team in Edmonton!

What does a Customer Service Team Member do?

  • Answer incoming phone calls and return voicemails

  • Reach out by phone to our past customers to book them in again

  • Respond to email inquiries

  • Collect payments over the phone and online

  • Respond in real time to online chats (yes - a real human answers those!)

  • Other tasks as needed

We are currently looking for folks with:

  • Tuesday afternoon availability (starting at 3pm or earlier)

  • 1 other weekday

  • Saturday/Sunday

General Requirements

  • 18 years or older

  • Genuine empathy for others, with a desire to understand and help

  • Very organized and doesn't let things "slip through"

  • Excellent computer and internet skills

  • Happy, friendly and outgoing, with a positive "can-do" attitude

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Must Have Experience

  • Phone Experience

    • Are you pumped to pick up the phone and help customers? Are comfortable starting conversations and asking questions? Great - Our customers are here to have fun, so it’s usually a fun and happy call But, this can’t be your first job answering phones

  • Previous Customer Service Experience

    • Dealing with the public isn't for everyone, so we need you to have had customer-facing roles in the past and know that you enjoy helping customers make happy memories with us

  • Experience working in an office + sitting at a desk

    • This job is all office work, so sitting at a desk for your full shift has to be a-okay with you.

  • Closing that sale

    • We aren’t pushy about sales, but we are a business. The candidate for this role needs to be able to upsell, close the sale, and ask for the booking. A tiny bit of a competitive spirit will work well.

Please fill in the application form questions so we can get to know you! This is a very communication-heavy role, so if you send us an AI written response that you send to everyone else, well, that probably won't look good. Tell us a little about yourself. Tell us a little about what you're looking for (hours, availability, etc). Tell us why you'd be awesome at this job!

Also, tell us if you're a dog or cat person (this is to see who reads everything....)!

We genuinely look forward to hearing from you!
