About The Role
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee key accounting activities, support financial reporting, and help ensure accurate and timely financial information. This position combines hands-on accounting with team leadership, financial analysis, and opportunities to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage intercompany transactions, foreign exchange, cash reconciliations, and related accounting.
- Oversee inventory, equipment, and other operational accounting activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting.
- Supervise, coach, and support accounting staff while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain internal controls and support external audits, tax reporting, and year-end requirements.
- Partner with finance and operations to resolve issues and improve reporting processes.

What You’ll Bring
- CPA designation or active enrollment in the CPA program - required.
- Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience within an accounting or finance team - mandatory.
- Strong month-end close, financial reporting, journal entry, and reconciliation experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and experience with intercompany accounting.
- Manufacturing, industrial equipment, distribution, or similar industry experience is highly valued.
- Strong Excel and accounting systems/ERP skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
