Monitor project profitability, claims, and financial exposures, escalating risks where appropriate.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
Provide financial guidance and insights to project managers, senior leadership, and operational stakeholders.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable financial reporting requirements.
Support project closeout activities and final financial reconciliations.
Respond to internal and external audit requests and provide supporting documentation as required.
Act as a key liaison between the finance team and project operations.
Contribute to process improvements and other financial initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.
CPA designation or progress toward a professional accounting designation is an asset.
4+ years of relevant project accounting experience, ideally within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or a similar project-based environment.
