As a Millwright, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.
Position Overview
- Responsible for welding, ironwork, or mechanical related tasks.
- Accurately and effectively uses various types of millwright precision tools.
- Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools.
- Reads and understands construction drawings, including providing accurate layout of the work and building to drawings and specifications.
- Appropriate level of experience in industrial mechanics or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Must be able to work a 14/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
- Own and maintain basic trade tools.
- Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities
Perform welding, ironwork, and mechanical tasks using millwright precision tools. Safely operate equipment and power tools, interpret construction drawings, and complete work layouts and construction according to drawings and specifications.
Requirements
Candidates need relevant industrial mechanics experience or enrollment in an apprenticeship program, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle. They must be able to work a 14/7 rotation with extended time away from home and own and maintain basic trade tools; pre-access drug and alcohol testing may be required.
