Role : Data Engineer(Ab-initio )
Location :Mississauga, Canada
Interview Process (3 Levels):
- L1 – Altimetrik Internal Panel (Teams/Zoom)
- Karat Interview
- Discussion with Project Team (Teams/Zoom)
Skills:
At least 4+ years of application Ab-initio Metadata hub development experience.
Strong understanding of Data Lineage, metadata management and reference data development and data analytics.
Good knowledge about relational databases like Oracle, SQL / PLSQL,
Strong knowledge in one or more of the areas of:
Data lineage, application development, python or Java coding experience
Hands on experience of any coding language and tool based configuration prior experience.
Full Software Development Kit (SDK) development cycle experience.
Pragmatic problem-solving and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in ab-initio mHub or python programming languages.
Proficiency with 1 or more of the following programming languages: Java, API, Python
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Responsibilities
Develop Ab Initio Metadata Hub applications and contribute to data lineage, metadata management, reference data, and analytics work. Support data warehousing and ETL processes while participating in the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
Requires at least four years of Ab Initio Metadata Hub development experience and strong knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, reference data, and relational databases such as Oracle. Candidates should have hands-on programming and tool-based configuration experience, proficiency in Ab Initio Metadata Hub or Python, and experience with languages such as Java or Python; two or more years of professional software development experience is also specified.
