Administrative Assistant IV – Saskatoon

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Program Coordinator – Training & Employment, the Administrative Assistant 4 provides administrative and operational support to the delivery of career and employment services for Métis clients throughout Saskatchewan. The role coordinates administrative processes; reviews and maintains client, program and personnel records, databases, spreadsheets, and case management systems; supports reporting requirements through the preparation and compilation of reports and documentation; coordinates meetings and events; assists with communications, marketing, and promotional activities; and carries out day-to-day activities necessary to ensure efficient program operations and effective service delivery, as well as other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Two years of post-secondary education with equivalent work experience may also be considered. Minimum of three years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in a post-secondary or career services environment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams, and the ability to learn Institute information systems and databases. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its Executive Team. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Understanding of Métis culture and employment and training needs would be considered an asset.
Term: October 2026 to March 31, 2028 (possibility of renewal)
Remuneration: GDI AA 4 wage grid
