What You'll Do

We're looking for a concept-driven Copywriter to join our team, working primarily on Brinker International - the home of Chili's Grill & Bar and Maggiano's Little Italy - with additional work across Enercare and Delta SkyMiles. Roughly 50–60% of your time will be dedicated to Brinker, giving you the chance to go deep on two beloved restaurant brands while flexing across home services and travel loyalty.

Here's the thing about the voice: it's dumb. Proudly, strategically, hilariously dumb. The kind of dumb that takes real intelligence to pull off - chronically online, meme-literate, a little unhinged, and impossible to ignore in a crowded inbox. If your best work makes people say "who approved this?" (affectionately), you're our person.

You'll write for SMS, push, email, and web - but don't mistake the channels for the job. We're not looking for someone to fill templates; we're looking for someone who leads with the idea and brings big, campaignable concepts to life across the customer journey.

Who You Are

What you'll be doing...

Concept and write copy across SMS, push notifications, email, and web for Brinker (Chili's and Maggiano's), Enercare, and Delta SkyMiles
Lead with ideas: develop campaign concepts and creative platforms, then translate them fluidly across channels and formats
Write gloriously dumb, culture-fluent copy for Chili's - and know exactly when to shift gears for Maggiano's warmth or a loyalty program's precision
Partner closely with art directors, designers, and strategists to build work that's both conceptually sharp and conversion-smart
Write within the realities of CRM: character counts, personalization fields, segmentation, subject lines, and A/B tests - and still make it sing
Present your work with clarity and confidence, and take feedback in stride
Contribute to brainstorms across the agency and bring a strong point of view to the table

Nice to Have

Who You Are...

3–5 years of copywriting experience, ideally with agency and CRM/lifecycle experience
A portfolio that shows conceptual thinking - not just executions, but ideas (bonus points if it makes us laugh)
Fluent in internet: you know the difference between a joke that lands and a brand trying too hard, and you never confuse the two
Experience writing for email, SMS, and/or push; you understand how people actually read (and skim) these channels
A natural voice-switcher who can be absurd, warm, or straightforward depending on the brand
Detail-obsessed: you catch the typo, question the CTA, and know when a subject line is working too hard
Collaborative, curious, and low-ego - you make the work better and the room better
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with multiple brands and overlapping deadlines
Bonus: experience in restaurant/QSR, loyalty programs, or subscription/home services
