Original job description

Introduction

At Gallagher, we help clients face risk with confidence because we believe that when businesses are protected, they’re free to grow, lead, and innovate. You’ll be backed by our digital ecosystem: a client-centric suite of consulting tools making it easier for you to meet your clients where they want to be met. Advanced data and analytics providing a comprehensive overview of the risk landscape is at your fingertips. Here, you’re not just improving clients' risk profiles, you’re building trust. You’ll find a culture grounded in teamwork, guided by integrity, and fueled by a shared commitment to do the right thing. We value curiosity, celebrate new ideas, and empower you to take ownership of your career while making a meaningful impact for the businesses we serve. If you’re ready to bring your unique perspective to a place where your work truly matters; think of Gallagher.

We believe that every candidate brings something special to the table, including you! We currently have an existing vacancy within our organization, so, even if you feel that you’re close but not an exact match, we encourage you to apply.

Overview

As an Account Manager on our Entertainment team, you will partner directly with the Sales Leader in the growth of a specialized portfolio of media and entertainment clients. This role is dedicated exclusively to supporting one of Gallagher's largest and fastest-growing entertainment books of business and serves as an extension of the Sales Leader through delegated authority.

You will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing renewals, coordinating insurer negotiations, and supporting the growth of a proprietary media program consisting of independent professionals and businesses operating within the entertainment industry. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, insurers, and industry partners while developing expertise in a unique and highly specialized sector.

Work Environment: Hybrid (Agile) – We at Gallagher enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office.

How you'll make an impact

Support a designated portfolio of Media and Entertainment Clientele.
Generate new business income, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and act as a concierge to our clients throughout the binding process.
Achieve sales targets; you will work on planning and prioritizing sales activities (quoting, call), fully utilizing Gallagher lead systems.
Deliver clients tailored insurance solutions, while ensuring underwriting frameworks are adhered to.
Ensure Gallagher's world-class quality of service standard is always upheld with clients.

About you

5+ years of Commercial Insurance brokering experience required.
Experience managing mid-market or complex commercial accounts.
Entertainment, media, professional liability, or specialty insurance experience is considered a strong asset.
Active and in good standing RIBO license required.
CAIB, CIP, CRM, FCIP, or other relevant insurance designations are preferred, or a willingness to pursue professional development.
Strong technical insurance knowledge with the ability to market and negotiate complex accounts.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and benefits

At Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself. For more information, visit our Benefits page.

Competitive compensation
Comprehensive benefits programs designed to support your well-being
Career development opportunities and ongoing learning
A collaborative, people-first culture with accessible leadership
The opportunity to do meaningful work with global reach and local impact

At Gallagher, we are dedicated to building an inclusive and authentic workplace. If your past experience doesn’t align perfectly, we encourage you to join our Talent Community to stay connected to additional career opportunities. At times, we will consider transferable skills from previous roles.

Gallagher is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer (Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled)
