- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
- Customer service duties such as welcoming, checking identification, and guiding visitors
- Manage access control
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Perform computer tasks
- Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification is required
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities
Monitor security systems and premises, identify suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and coordinate with emergency teams or law enforcement when needed. Conduct patrols, manage access and visitor interactions, inspect equipment, and document incidents and security concerns.
Requirements
Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and have first aid certification. Strong report-writing skills, good eyesight, sustained focus, technology proficiency, and the ability to stand and walk throughout a shift are required.
