We are hiring a Coin Room Processor for our Cash Services division in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
What We Offer
- Full Time Position
- Starting Wages: $22.34 / hour
- Scheduling: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 3:30PM
- On-site parking
- Safe work environment with efficient equipment

- Perform all aspects of the coin deposit verification function to ensure all monies declared on a customer’s deposit ticket are correct
- Compare coin bags received against manifest to make sure all deposits are accounted for
- Able to comfortably bend/lift upwards of 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Enter verified coin into the tracking system & report deposit totals to the supervisor and client
- Operate jet scan to sort coin by denomination and to verify customer coin deposits
- Respect GardaWorld politics and security regulations
- Maintain departmental productivity standards
- Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
- All other related task
- Reliable transport required
- Steel Toe Shoes will be required for this role
- Be available to work shifts that vary and are contingent on operational needs
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and MS Office
- Committed to safe job performance
- Reliable, conscientious and responsible
- Highly organized and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
Verify coin deposits by comparing received bags with manifests and customer deposit tickets, ensuring all funds are accounted for and declared amounts are correct. Sort and track verified coin, report totals to supervisors and clients, follow security and safety rules, and maintain productivity and a clean work area.
Requirements
Candidates need reliable transportation, steel-toe shoes, and the ability to bend, lift over 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods. They should be dependable, organized, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, able to meet tight timelines, and familiar with Word, Excel, and MS Office.
