What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.
As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as educational sites.

- Full-time Schedule: 12-hour continental rotation (including 2 weeks days (8am-8pm) & 2 weeks overnights (8pm-8am))

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard
- Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Check identification and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- WSIB approved First aid certification
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Minimum 1 year previous security experience
- Previous tactical experience is an asset
