Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard?
What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.
As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 0900-1730 - Temporary until Jan 31, 2027
Location - L8N 4G9 - Hamilton

- Check identification and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification required
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Ability to intervene during verbal altercations with staff, to De-Escalate situations and create safety
- Enforcement of Tresspass to Property Act

Responsibilities
Patrol critical areas, identify suspicious activity, control access, and respond to threats or incidents while documenting actions taken. Check alarms and cameras, conduct on-site alarm checks, and coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Requirements
Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and have first aid certification. They must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift, intervene in verbal altercations to de-escalate situations, and enforce the Trespass to Property Act.
