What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.
As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
Location: L9G 3L1
Schedule: Mon-Fri - Full Time - Days, Afternoons, and Nights available

- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification required
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities
Monitor security systems and premises to identify suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and conduct regular foot patrols. Control access to secure areas, document events in detailed reports, identify system vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents or emergencies.
Requirements
Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and have first aid certification. Strong report-writing skills, good eyesight, sustained focus, technology proficiency, and the ability to stand and walk throughout the shift are required.
