We are seeking a creative, organized, and customer-focused retail leader to join our Saanich team as Department Manager – Gift & Home Décor. Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand.
- Oversee daily department operations, including receiving, pricing & inventory management
- Analyze sales trends and inventory levels to support merchandising and replenishment decisions.
- Collaborating with the Visual Merchandise Manager, creating inspiring, visual displays that reflect current trends and seasonal stories.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting department that enhances the guest experience.
- Assist with in-store promotions and seasonal displays, helping to create a vibrant shopping environment. Is this you?
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience, preferably in home décor, lifestyle, or gift merchandising.
- Strong visual merchandising skills with an eye for detail and design.
- Proven ability to manage inventory and track sales performance effectively.
- Excellent communication, fostering collaboration and motivation within the team.
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and POS/inventory management systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and seasonal peaks as required.
- Comfortable with light lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.
