Senior Digital Assets / Techno-Functional Lead – Banking
We are seeking a Senior Digital Assets / Techno-Functional Lead with a strong hands-on technical background and experience within the banking / financial services sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on Digital Assets and securities settlement initiatives, with a focus on Canton Network / Daml and/or Hyperledger, Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and post-trade processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience across both Canton and Hyperledger, although strong experience in either platform will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Digital Assets / DLT initiatives.
- Design, develop and deliver solutions using Canton/Daml and/or Hyperledger.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support solutions involving securities settlement, Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and post-trade processes.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to a small development team.
- Contribute to solution architecture and technical design while remaining hands-on.
- Act as the link between functional/business requirements and technical delivery.
Key Requirements
- Strong banking / financial services experience is essential.
- Proven hands-on development experience with Canton/Daml and/or Hyperledger.
- Strong understanding of Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and securities settlement.
- Experience within Digital Assets, blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.
- Previous experience operating at Senior Developer, Technical Lead or Architect level.
- Strong understanding of custody, securities services, settlement or post-trade would be highly desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Canton/Daml + Hyperledger + Hands-on Development + Banking + DvP/Securities Settlement
However, candidates with strong hands-on experience in either Canton/Daml OR Hyperledger will also be considered, provided they have relevant banking and securities settlement experience.
Candidates from custody or securities settlement backgrounds with strong Digital Assets / DLT technical experience are also encouraged to apply.
