Compensation: $23-27/hr
Schedule: Casual Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating machinery and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, and masonry work to maintain the appearance and functionality of structures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants, employees, or management.
- Maintain and clean commercial cleaning equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team or external contractors on larger projects or repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance work areas.
- Perform emergency repairs or maintenance outside of regular working hours as necessary.
- Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in maintenance and repair.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and tenants to coordinate work and address concerns.
- Adhere to budgetary constraints and seek cost-effective solutions for maintenance issues.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with others.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in janitorial
- Supervisor experience is an asset
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
- Must have a valid driver licence.
Must be able to pass Criminal Record Check.
