Job Description Summary

Roles will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. Individuals will generally either be located at, and only support, a specific site or project (including construction), or have a role that requires specific industry/business expertise or interaction with specific business customers. This category will include those EHS professionals involved in “designing for EHS” (NPI), individuals responsible for customer or industry engagement, and EHS professionals working at customer sites or projects (generally not managing teams of EHS professionals or regions).

Job Description

Responsabilités principales :

Promouvoir les activités SSE (Santé, Sécurité, Environnement), mettre en œuvre les politiques de l'entreprise et assurer la conformité avec la législation canadienne sur le site.

Formation et systèmes : Gérer toutes les formations SSE liées à la fabrication, organiser les systèmes de gestion et assurer le respect du programme de formation.

Environnement et ergonomie : Gérer le programme environnemental (données sur l'eau, l'énergie et les déchets) et diriger la mise en œuvre du programme d'ergonomie.

Inspections et enquêtes : Effectuer des inspections périodiques des équipements et des zones, mener des enquêtes sur les accidents et préparer des rapports techniques.

Conformité et procédures : Réviser et développer les procédures SSE/Environnementales conformément aux directives de GE et aux normes locales.

Rapports : Gérer les indicateurs de performance (KPI) SSE et appuyer la préparation des rapports de gestion mensuels et annuels.

Leadership et coaching : Accompagner activement les employés et les sous-traitants sur les politiques SSE et faire respecter les règlements de sécurité dans l'ensemble de l'installation.

Qualifications Requises

Formation : Licence (ou équivalent) en ingénierie ou dans un domaine lié à l'HSE.

Compétences clés : Esprit d'analyse, proactivité, leadership affirmé, communication efficace et engagement envers l'excellence.

Compétences interpersonnelles (Soft Skills) : Orienté client, flexible, autonome dans l'apprentissage, et grand esprit d'équipe allié à une attitude professionnelle.

Oversee environmental and ergonomics programs, conduct inspections and accident investigations, develop procedures, track EHS performance indicators, prepare management reports, and coach employees and contractors on safety.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or an HSE-related field is required.
