Key Job Elements
- Provide advice, guidance and technical assistance to internal and external customers on vehicle maintenance issues and repair procedures
- Assist in the development of repair estimates
- Conduct technical inspections and troubleshoot automotive systems
- Conduct repairs, modifications and retrofits on Light Armoured Vehicles
- Liaise with internal and external customers for resolution of data and technical problems
- Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
- Prepare input for various management and log reports
- Provide data to assist in monitoring and tracking project budgets and project status
- Provide technical, test and repair support to customers at their sites when required
- When required, act as lead repair technician, provide team leadership, instruct, monitor and inspect repairs of other technicians on site
- 310S or 310T License; or equivalent
- Ability to support our customer throughCanadian/international travel, including in areas of operational deployment with ourcustomers
- Proficient communication, organization and prioritization skills
- Experience working with teams and/or customers
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions, and perform physical tasks – i.e. lifting, climbing
- Ability to drive a Fork Truck and operate Portable Cranes and other material handling equipment
- Ability to work swing shift – i.e. two weeks of morning shift, two weeks of afternoon shift, then repeat
- Experience in a Shop / Manufacturing Environment

Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance, inspect and troubleshoot automotive systems, and repair, modify, and retrofit Light Armoured Vehicles. Support customers at their sites, track parts and project information, and lead repair work when required.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a 310S or 310T license or equivalent and be able to travel domestically and internationally, including to operational deployment areas. They must communicate and organize effectively, work with teams and customers, perform physical tasks in confined spaces, operate material-handling equipment, and work a rotating morning and afternoon shift.
