Through the application of Engineering expertise and analysis, support designers to ensure mechanical designs are optimized for manufacturability, weight, and cost.
Perform engineering tests, including vibration and shock testing, for qualification and design verification. Design mechanical tests and test fixtures, document and analyze results, and prepare formal test reports.
Work closely with other design professionals, systems engineers, supply chain personnel, and manufacturing engineers to ensure a smooth flow of information throughout a project.
Perform 3D scanning and process data in support of vehicle platform design.
Perform vehicle cable routing in accordance with company standards.

Support program management in the creation of reports for technical reviews and task progress.
Travel to Department of National Defence (DND) locations in Canada to review vehicles for installation design and support installation of final designs for system qualification and verification.
Develop project and performance metrics and support their application and use on assigned projects.
Support the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead and Program Manager in achieving project objectives and meeting DND customer delivery requirements in accordance with GDMS-C processes and procedures.
