Join Genetec’s Cloud Security and Identity (CSI) team.

We are looking for a seasoned developer with a strong security mindset to help evolve our internal security platform.

The Cloud Security and Identity team builds and operates internal security platforms that:

manage credentials for employees and services
collect, analyze, and act on security events at scale

Our mission is to raise the security bar across the organization through reliable, observable, and well-engineered systems.

Your day at a glance:

You will work on a multi-stack codebase with strong engineering discipline and a security-first mindset. Your responsibilities include:

Designing and building event-driven security detections and platform capabilities
Working closely with security and engineering stakeholders to identify relevant signals, enrichments, and decision points
Operating and improving production systems with a focus on observability, performance, reliability, and cost awareness
Owning end-to-end delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
Contributing to the long-term evolution of the platform architecture and engineering standards

What makes you a great fit:

5+ years of experience building and operating production software
Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean design, maintainable code, and testability
Comfortable working across multiple layers of a system, from code to cloud infrastructure
Solid security culture: threat-aware design, least privilege, safe defaults, and practical cryptography
Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

Your technical expertise:

Experience operating cloud-based systems (Azure preferred but not required)
Strong DevOps and automation mindset (CI/CD, containers, infrastructure-as-code)
Hands-on experience running production systems: logs, metrics, incidents, failure modes, and iterative hardening

An asset if you have:

Experience with event streaming, messaging, or data pipeline architectures
