Your Role

Work with a team of architects in bringing design dreams to life as a Gensler Technical Designer. Produce technical documentation and communicate project progress with the lead architect and other team members to ensure our projects exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do

Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
Partner with Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of project
Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation
Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
2-5 years of professional experience post-graduation
Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as Revit, Rhino, Octane, 3dViz, 3d Studio MAX

**The base salary range will be estimated between $72,500 and $80,000. Gensler’s total compensation package is multi-layered and includes a base salary, two annual bonuses paid in December and June.
