A free and confidential Employee & Family Assistance Program. Available anytime, anywhere, to help you meet your wellness goals and support you through life’s events.
An awesome team and a welcoming environment!

Why We Want You:

At Gentek, we know that a person’s home is their sanctuary. We are a B2B wholesaler and through our customer partners, including contractors, builders, and retail stores, our products reach their final destinations.

As a Branch Inside Sales Support representative, you love to “ACT”:

Acknowledge all customers in person and on the phone; greet them with a smile.
Create great business partnerships; we provide excellent customer service in every transaction. We understand our customers’ needs, projects, and priorities.
Thank customers after every interaction; we don’t take their partnership with us for granted.

In this client-facing role, you understand the importance of customer service and the foundation of ACT. You will become a product knowledge expert, knowing all about what we sell and how to support our customers. General responsibilities include:

Customer Service

Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch, or as they call.
Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides.
Make it easy for customers to do business with us. You are their business partner.

Order Processing

Enter and process customer orders through Gentek’s order system.
Provide accurate and helpful information about products, availability, and delivery status.
Maintain accurate documentation related to customers and orders.

Please Apply If This Sounds Like You:

Completed High School certificate a must. Post-secondary education an asset.
Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk) is valuable, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences.
Must be computer proficient.
High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.
Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees.
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Who Is Gentek?

Gentek is a leading manufacturer and distributor of vinyl/aluminum siding, windows, and other exterior home improvement building products. With 3 manufacturing facilities and distribution branches coast to coast, we provide our customers with superior products and services. This can only be achieved by having a fantastic group of employees and we know that they deserve a great, inclusive work experience, which we strive to provide.

As a Branch Inside Sales Support Representative, you are an essential part of the Gentek team. You will make sure our customers get the products and/or information they need and get them on their way. If you don’t already have expert knowledge of the building products we carry, you will be willing and able to develop the knowledge you need to provide the exceptional customer service experience that our customers have come to expect from us.

Don’t miss your opportunity! Gentek is growing. Come grow with us. If you think you have what it takes to be a Branch Customer Service Representative, you may just be the candidate we’re looking for. We encourage you to apply today! Accommodations for applicants with disabilities available upon request.
