Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Head of Security Centre who will own Geotab's vehicle and asset security outcome end to end - theft prevention (Starter Inhibit, immobilization and relay-kit solutions), stolen-asset tracking, and recovery - with successful recovery rate as the domain's primary KPA. What you'll do:

As a Head of Security Centre, your key area of responsibility will be owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Security Centre, operating as a hands-on product owner and business owner to translate strategic direction into a validated business case and roadmap. You will need to work closely with Asset Tracking, Lost Mode and security operations centre integrations, Shared Mobility, Embedded Engineering, and Platform domains.

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter energized by owning a domain single-handedly, with a Geotab First mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships. In addition, the successful candidate will have deep customer empathy, commercial instinct with P&L literacy, and AI nativity to redesign workflows and compress effort

How you'll make an impact:

• Own the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Security Centre while taking full accountability for key business outcomes like vehicle recovery rates.

• Personally drive end-to-end product discovery, requirements, prioritization, and delivery while leveraging AI tools to optimize single-person domain reach.

• Validate new business cases by sizing the market, mapping key competitors, and testing willingness to pay across target markets before scaling.

• Manage and maintain existing theft-prevention offerings - including Starter Inhibit, immobilization, and relay-kit solutions - to ensure continuous product health and ownership.

• Establish direct feedback loops with external fleet customers, sales, and support teams to identify gaps and continuously refine product features.

• Define and track core customer experience and business performance metrics, including adoption, retention, time-to-value, NPS, and overall domain revenue.

• Collaborate with platform, segment, and solution domain leads - such as Asset Tracking and Shared Mobility - to deliver a seamless theft-prevention-to-recovery user journey.

• Present data-driven growth recommendations, commercial investment cases, and annual budget input directly to department board leadership.

• Advocate for a "Geotab First" collaborative mindset by building strong cross-functional partnerships and prioritizing company-wide goals over domain silos

What you'll bring to this role:

• 10 - 12 years of required previous experience in related fields.

• 7+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or a related customer-facing product role, ideally in telematics, vehicle security, or IoT.

• 3+ years owning a product line or business outcome end to end, including building and validating business cases.

• 5 - 8 years of required leadership experience, including 2+ years in a role with accountability for customer-facing outcomes and cross-functional coordination (demonstrated ability to lead through influence across multiple teams and domains).

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience).

• Domain knowledge of vehicle security and anti-theft (immobilization, starter inhibit, keyless access, jamming/spoofing) with deep customer empathy and P&L literacy.

• AI Nativity to redesign domain workflows around AI, a self-starter mindset to own a single-person domain hands-on, and the ability to travel routinely (approx. 10–15%).

The annual base salary for this position is the expected annual salary for this role, and may be subject to change. Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and the individual's ability to pass a background check.

$138,600 - $184,900 CAD
