Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the VP, Operations Strategy, you will lead a dynamic team to drive performance and deliver value-added decision support across the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Pricing Excellence: Assess enterprise pricing performance, build advanced pricing models from scratch, identify margin opportunities, and challenge assumptions. Influence Area Vice Presidents and Business Unit leaders to translate analytical insights into actionable strategies that optimize commercial outcomes.
  • Advanced Analytics & AI: Champion statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics to transition the business from descriptive reporting to prescriptive intelligence. Accelerate speed-to-insight by integrating modern analytics tools, AWS-native workflows, predictive machine learning, and responsible GenAI/copilots.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute the long-term vision for the Business Analytics department. Scale enterprise data platforms and ensure full alignment between analytics initiatives and global corporate objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the full data lifecycle - from ingestion and pipeline collaboration to the delivery of interactive executive dashboards, automated workflows, and high-impact predictive tools.
  • Data Governance & Integrity: Establish rigorous standards for data quality, security, and governance. Define control frameworks and KPIs to ensure business intelligence is accurate, reliable, and meeting compliance benchmarks.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership. Translate ambiguous operational and market questions into clear recommendations, guiding executive partners through trade-offs with decision-ready narratives.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of analysts and data professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, analytical rigor, and collaborative business partnering.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or related quantitative fields, including experimentation frameworks, statistical modeling, and time-series analysis.
  • 5+ years in pricing, revenue management, or applied data science within B2B or service-oriented industries, with a proven track record of building dynamic pricing and financial models from scratch.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including structuring team processes for service delivery in fast-paced environments, presenting to C-suite audiences, and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Expert-level modeling skills and hands-on proficiency with major BI tools (Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau) and database querying (SQL).
  • Direct experience with AWS cloud data environments (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, Forecast, or SageMaker) and leveraging GenAI/copilots to accelerate insight generation.
  • Executive Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to distill complex data insights into concise, persuasive presentations for senior leaders.
  • Commercial & Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of operational finance, FP&A, and business operations, with the ability to link data metrics directly to bottom-line profitability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science required; Master’s degree in a quantitative field highly preferred.
