- Assist with environmental cleanup and remediation activities, including soil excavation, waste removal, and site preparation
- Handle, load, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to safety and environmental regulations
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., pressure washers, vacuum trucks, pneumatic tools)
- Perform general labour tasks such as lifting, moving materials, shoveling, sweeping, and site setup/teardown
- Support spill response and containment efforts under the guidance of supervisors
- Follow strict safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Complete daily safety checks and report hazards or equipment issues immediately
- Work in confined spaces or at heights, if required (with proper training and certification)
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in industrial, construction, or environmental work is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather and site conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to travel to different worksites as needed and stay out of town
- Valid “G” Class driver’s license (preferred)
- Confined Space, WHMIS, H2S Alive, and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Work is primarily outdoors or in industrial facilities
- Exposure to dirt, dust, noise, chemicals, and hazardous materials
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory
- Shift work, overtime, and weekend work may be required
