- Days Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
- Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Break down commodities to the required size in accordance with the specifications.
- Use computer system to input material codes and weight.
- Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
- Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- The successful applicant will be subject a criminal background check.
- 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
- 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required

Responsibilities
Inspect, grade, sort, and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals, breaking materials down to required sizes and removing non-conforming items. Maintain an orderly work area, enter material codes and weights into the computer system, prepare yard tickets for customers, and provide customer service.
Requirements
Applicants need at least one year of experience in production, warehousing, or landscaping. One year of forklift or skid-steer experience is preferred but not required; successful applicants must also pass a criminal background check.
