About GIANT Creative

GIANT Creative is Canada’s premier full-service marketing agency, known for blending data-driven strategies with unforgettable creative. We build performance-first campaigns rooted in storytelling, design, and tech that deliver GIANT results.

We are looking for a Client Strategy Lead who manages client success at the intersection of creative, paid media, SEO, MarTech, analytics, and account management. This is an interdisciplinary and collaborative position, requiring both high-level strategic development and hands-on problem solving.

You will report to the CEO and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team - CTO and Director of Product & Operations - and cross-functionally with strategy, creative, web tech and other specialists.

This is a client-facing leadership role that champions a performance-first approach to all projects, while acting as a steward for each client’s brand, values, and goals. You work directly with clients, and directly with an in-house and contract team, to create clear, achievable, and measurable impact. Strategy comes first, but expect ~30% of your time to be hands-on: building a budget model, investigating a tracking case, or developing a key report.

What You'll Do

Client strategy & leadership

Own strategic direction across the client book, from single-location businesses to multi-location franchise systems
Lead a heavy client meeting cadence spanning paid media performance, creative strategy, and brand development
Run kick-offs end to end: internal prep, discovery, access checklists, decks
Build 30-60-90 day launch strategies with product and operations, paid media, and web tech - then move accounts onto long-term plans
Ground strategy in market research and audience development

Paid media strategy & oversight

Set campaign strategy, budgets, and projections across Google Ads and Meta; oversee a specialist team that owns build and optimization
Set the methodology for budget models and lead-flow projections, built with the team from benchmark data
Audit creative and campaign structure; identify inefficiencies, keyword whitespace, and client-campaign alignment
Diagnose beyond the ad account - spot when performance gaps trace to tracking, intake misalignment or client-side follow-up

Creative & content

Guide creative strategy and brand development in step with performance goals
Set direction for the media team - videographer, editor, photographer, graphic designer - on messaging, positioning, and shoot production
Own pre-production for video and photo shoots; assets run across web, social, paid, and print
Direct content and editorial work, including website content and email

Agency operations

Contribute to internal process, tooling, and templates that make the agency's work repeatable
Adopt AI tools pragmatically across research, production, analysis, and reporting - faster work without losing rigor
Mentor and onboard specialists; write the cheat sheets and playbooks that get new hires productive fast

Agency growth & business development

Contribute strategy to proposals and new business pitches
Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities with account teams; turn strong relationships into expanded scope
Push agency thought leadership and process improvement forward

What You Bring

7+ years in digital marketing, including 3+ years leading strategy, accounts, or teams at a senior level (agency experience strongly preferred)
Hands-on depth in Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max) and Meta Ads Manager - you can direct specialists because you've done the work
A forensic instinct for data - you validate before you trust, and you can explain a platform discrepancy to a client without hand-waving
Strong client-facing communication: you write executive-ready reports and present decks that make complex analysis land
Experience with multi-location or franchise clients, including budget modelling across territories

Nice to Have

Local SEO and Google Business Profile expertise, including compliance-aware profile management
LinkedIn Ads experience, particularly for B2B or franchise development lead gen
SEO tooling (SEMrush, Ahrefs) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign)
Familiarity with AI-assisted production workflows for decks, documents, and creative
Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Asana) and building internal process templates
Comfort working in regulated or sensitive categories where compliance shapes creative and claims
